Beadz aka Beadz Jones aka The Face of Chicago, is not a stranger anymore as his image and songs are plastered all over Chicago’s billboards and radio waves throughout the city as one of the mainstays of Chi Town Hip Hop.
Beadz' namesake gives the impression that he is a newcomer in the Rap arena, but he has spent a decade building his act, foraging his concepts and executing this music business. He is a highly established, and prominent multi-platinum contender in the record business, and has been a part of the many facets of the business during his early years of development. His many on-stage performances at local and national music associated events, conferences , retreats, and concerts, has made his reverence for music his life. He has been interviewed by all the major hip hop magazines, including “Source”, “Ozone”, “Hip Hop Weekly”, “XXL” and many other independent outlet media and blogs. Beadz was part of the Manatee Records group of artists representing Chitown at, “TjDjs Conferences”, Bigga Rankin and Ozone Magazine’s “Diamond Award”, and “The ATL Record Pool” showcases in ATL as well as performed at the, “Southern DJ Record Pool Conference”, the “A3C” and “SXSW”. He has been grinding in the underground market throughout the Midwest and especially more importantly, over the past three years , added to many of Chicago’s Iconic stars, Twista’s, Concerts throughout the Country. His release with Twista, “Go Hard" for which he nabbed Billboard Charting of the single, as well as the previous single with Layzie Bone from BTNH, “Get Home”, has put some fire in Beadz, and his team, to get the winning ticket on the world stage. With all the history, as well as national and international fan support from all the key players in the music community, we are experiencing the transition of an underground phenomena, and let us raise a toast to this incredible, confident, secured artist from the Windy City, namely Beadz Jones. Beadz has done collaborative work with most of Chi Town’s rap icons namely Twista, LEP Boys, Do-or-Die, Psychodrama, Crucial Conflict as well as BTNH more recently, and when asked how they are all represented, he replies that those are his icons and they all bring a history of survival in his life and his creative art. Beadz was the 1st Independent Artist to grace the cover of “Coast2 Coast" Mixtape Magazine and he hosted the corresponding mixtape issue with a host of current major artists in 2013. His releases have seen light on “Spinrilla”, “Livemixtapes”, “MyMixtapez”, “DatPiff”, “MIdwestMixtapes”, and many more.
His songs are heard across the USA in the social and adult strip clubs globally, as well as radio. After a host of underground album releases, and on most digital platforms, Beadz has finally realized that the best is yet to come. His recently released single, “On 4 Nem”, placed on the Top-100 Mediabase Urban Songs, and now in the past few days has his latest hit single “Twerk Girl”, produced by Dj Clent and featuring Warner Records star Erica Banks, placed in the Top-200 Urban Mediabase Radio Songs. The record is heating up on most mixshows throughout the USA as well as Internationally, and has been added to radio playlists daily.
